1st of October is an excellent release date for a new version of YouClubVideo. Where we are, 3 years later after the pilot and the site became what we wanted.Our desires and expectations have motivated all the overtime hours, have motivated all the financial efforts, and, above all, have demonstrated that there is no such thing as “impossible”.

In addition the updates we are about to enumerate, The YouClubVideo Team promise that will continuously develop new useful and interesting functions and applications and that will promote all the events, artists and special party locations just as it did before.

Built with the latest in web technology, YouClubVideo has now an improved design, displaying in HomePage the latest media from categories, popular videos of the week, popular audios of the week, top club – because community is very important for us – and top charts by day, week, month or all time and it offers the user an unique browsing experience due to the interactive layout. Also, the new filter by duration added in the video and audio category pages will make it easier for users to enjoy and discover the media uploaded.

Loading faster than the previous version, the new YouClubVideo allows the user to search content easier due to Search Result page filters that will display, next to the search results, the category in which that media can be found. Also, we have implemented the option of refinement by the category and by most popular media in that specific category that still matches your search string.

As we said above, we are very enthusiastic and caring when we’re talking about our users, so now, the Community page displays the Top Club and Newest Clubs registested, combined with an update section on the user profile that will list all the latest media uploaded, plus others related to the one that has just been uploaded. From now on, you can also follow the user, if you like his/hers uploads. A registered member will be able to track his activity in a “My Activity” page, but also track his followers activity in “My Followers activity” page and see different statistics and graphics regarding uploaded media.

Other noticeable improvements consist in:

• Allowing Multiple Account type – this function is in Beta – for Enthusiast ,Artist, Club or Label
• Location of the user / artisti / club or label with Google Maps service
• When uploading, allowing the user to select type of license (Creative Commons, Non Comercial, All Right Reserved)
• Anti-duplicate function, warns the user about similar or same file beeing already uploaded
• A two-step upload function
• On the live page, the possibility of watching archieved events
• Different other options on the upload info, like Record label, Release date, Catalogue number, ISRC, BPM, Buy Link and others
• Allowing the users to comment with facebook account
• A new video and audio player with repeat function (a huge plus)
• A new rating mode with plus and minus options
• Different other social media interation tools, like Google +1 button
